For my master's program project, I took on the challenge of revitalizing a brand, and I selected one of my personal favorites, the Olipop brand. Leading the charge, I orchestrated a comprehensive overhaul, unveiling a fresh identity and crafting a marketing campaign titled "Rebel by Olipop," embodying the slogan "Radically Effective Bacteria Elevates Life." Here's a detailed examination of what this concept entails.

To embark on this project, my intention was to expand a product line from my personal perspective, selecting something that not only captivated me creatively but also held familiarity and depth for me to explore. I aimed to analyze how I could redefine its creative essence from various angles including typography, marketing campaigns, and overall brand identity.

Rebel isn't just about its great taste and look. It's about how its powerful bacteria boost your life. Each flavor has its own personality, reflecting this spirit. My goal wasn't just to rebrand; it was to tell a meaningful story. It's not just about getting healthier; it's about making every sip count.

In essence, the project seeks to breathe new life into existing products by infusing them with innovative typography and a strong dose of creativity. Through a comprehensive case study, I aimed to delve into the brand Olipop, renowned for its commitment to sustainability, health consciousness, and vegan principles. Specifically, I focused on dissecting their soda-inspired beverage, crafted with plant fiber and prebiotics, as it serves as a beacon of wellness and vitality in the market landscape.

In conceptualizing the typography for this project, I pursued a deliberate path, opting for a style that deliberately veered away from flawless precision in favor of imbuing each letterform with a distinct personality, depth, and a hint of raw authenticity. My decision was deeply influenced by the recognition that embarking on a journey of healthy eating demands not only commitment but also a resilient spirit capable of navigating through challenges and setbacks.

Moreover, I delved into the very essence of the ingredients themselves, recognizing their inherent imperfections as a testament to their natural origin. In this light, I saw an opportunity to reflect this authenticity through the choice of font, aiming to encapsulate the essence of the journey towards wellness in every curve and stroke. Thus, the typography became more than just a visual element; it became a narrative, mirroring the imperfect yet beautiful process of striving for a healthier lifestyle.

Lastly, it's essential to fully embrace and relish the concept. My focus was on highlighting the rebellious essence while maintaining an atmosphere of joy and inclusivity. This was achieved by infusing the project with a sense of playfulness and warmth, all while incorporating elements of sophistication reminiscent of a chic urban setting. Additionally, I sought to inject the vibrant and electrifying energy found within pop-rock culture, adding an extra layer of excitement and dynamism to the overall experience.

In essence, my mission revolves around prioritizing health and wellness. Inspired by OLIPOP, a probiotic beverage resembling soda but crafted with unique infusions, I've embarked on a rebranding journey, introducing the limited edition variety collection REBEL by OLIPOP.
"Rebel" represents "Radically Effective Bacteria Elevates Life," offering a fresh take on wellness by rebelling against unhealthy options. This campaign merges rebellious spirit with gut health advocacy.

Drawing from pop-punk and 90s rock influences, I infused vibrancy and nostalgia into the branding through bold colors, textures, and flavors. With custom typography and innovative design, this product promises to stand out and tantalize taste buds. Let's rebel—for the good of the gut!
